Lori Messer is a Senior Consultant with the Gallagher Human Resources & Compensation Consulting practice with over 25 years of classification and compensation experience, and has been with the firm for the past 10 years. She is responsible for providing consulting services to clients in all aspects of compensation systems. She works with non-profit, special district, higher education and public sector organizations all across the United States. Ms. Messer has led over 100 similar projects addressing the compensation issues in complex organizations. She has extensive knowledge in the structures and compensation issues confronting public sector organizations, such as the competitive nature with private sector, the job design that includes multiple functions, the variety of operations and site differences that impact scope and level of positions, and the funding capability of different sites or functions of the organization.
Ms. Messer has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business from Arizona State University and a Master’s Degree in Secondary Education from the University of Phoenix. Prior to joining the firm, she served in variety of consultative human resources capacities in municipal government, healthcare, high tech and distribution.
Ms. Messer is a member of WorldatWork and has earned his CCP certification. She also serves on the Merit Board for the City of Tempe, AZ.
